Mario Bros. - Wata 9.0 A+ Sealed [Hangtab, 2 Code, Mid-Production], NES Nintendo 1986 USA. We hadn't really entertained the idea that a copy of this variant of this game from the "Arcade Classic Series" would be discovered outside of a private collection. Longtime Nintendo collectors will likely recognize this black box game as one that is hard to find in this sort of condition for any variant -- let alone a cardboard hangtab! It's mind-blowing to think that this variant was only produced for what is essentially a blip of time in early 1987, only to have the cardboard hangtab removed from the box design by the middle of the year. Wata's label does disclose that there are signs that this game has some minor signs of being exposed to moisture in the past, though that does little to take away from the impressive eye appeal of this copy.PSA Population Report
