    Description

Cabinet Piece for "First Only" Collectors

Double Dragon - Wata 8.5 A Sealed [Rev-A, Round SOQ, First Production], NES Tradewest 1988 USA. Talk about trophies! This is only the second copy from the first production we've ever offered in our venue. Previously, a Wata 6.5 B+ took one of our weekly auctions by storm in October 2020 when it sold for an unprecedented all-in price of $6,600. Since then, we haven't heard a peep from collectors or attic searchers about another copy until now. This copy is definitely at the top of its grade in terms of appearance, we can't imagine a Wata 8.5 could look much better. Finding a round Nintendo seal of quality copy of this game amongst the oval seal variety is a tough venture, so we would strongly advise to take advantage of securing one when there's a shot at doing so.
