Chrono Trigger - Wata 9.4 A Sealed [Made in Mexico], SNES Squaresoft 1995 USA. Chrono Trigger is one of the most highly regarded games in the SNES library, as well as one of the more highly sought-after titles by SNES collectors and RPG fans. We sold a Wata 8.5 example of the game back in July for $28,800 and a 9.6 back in November of 2020 for $48,000. With the retro gaming market showing no signs of slowing down, and with RPGs continually sought after by serious collectors, we wouldn't be surprised if this 9.4 comes close to surpassing that 9.6. This is just the fifth sealed copy of the game we've offered overall, and bidding for the title is always robust. For collectors who have been on the seemingly endless hunt for a copy that's worthy of being a front-and-center shelf piece, this one certainly foots the bill. The game was created by some of the most talented people in the video game industry: Hironobu Sakaguchi, Yuji Horji, Akira Toriyama, and Nobuo Uematsu.PSA Population Report
