Space Invaders - Wata 8.0 NS Unopened [Blue Box, Early Production], 2600 Atari 1980 USA. Few video games are more iconic than Space Invaders, and the Atari 2600 port one-ups the 1978 coin-op classic with 112 game variations, including invisible invaders, moving shields, zigzagging laser bombs, and two-player simultaneous modes. The cartridge was the first officially licensed arcade port for a home system, and it was a killer app for the Atari 2600, quadrupling sales of the console. The box has some light corner and edge wear as well as a 1.5-inch wrinkle on the bottom/front/right, but it's in very nice condition overall. Slab says 1978, but the 2600 port came out in 1980.View the certification for PSA Certification ID 581784-003, including grader's notes if available.
