Description
Pitfall! Wata 9.6 A++ Sealed Atari 2600 ActiVision 1982 USA. As far as Atari games go, it's hard to get more iconic than this! This copy looks so fresh that it seems to have just been placed in the holder right off the production line. "Pitfall!" is one of the best selling video games on the console, and sold more than four million copies back in its hey-day. It is certainly one of the most influential titles on the console, too! David Crane was able to work within the confines of the Atari 2600's graphical and processing limitations to make a colorful, smooth game that was very impressive for its time. "Pitfall!" is also attributed with putting the first third-party developer for a home console, ActiVision, in the spotlight. Ultimately, this inspired other companies to begin developing video games. We have no doubt that there are members of the Pitfall Harry Explorer Club who are ready to put this game alongside their commemorative patches!Auction Info
