Pac-Man - Wata 9.6 NS Glue Seal [2D Pac-Man], 2600 Atari 1982
USA. Well, well, well, "Waka Waka," indeed. This Wata 9.6 is
certainly an impressive specimen. Looking upon it, all we can ask
ourselves is, "How?" This copy wasn't manufactured with plastic
wrap - just like other early Atari 2600 games - so it can be
assumed that this box itself has been exposed for all of these
years. Generally, plastic protects the box from common
wear-and-tear flaws, so to see a glued lid box in such pristine
condition is downright baffling. Atari did their best to "rush"
this port of the wildly popular Pac-Man arcade game out to the
public for a Christmas release in 1981, and, thankfully, this copy
managed to make it through that rush completely unscathed.Auction Info
