Halloween - Wata 9.4 CIB, 2600 Wizard Video Games 1983 USA. [Box: 9.2; Cart: 9.8; Manual: 9.4; Overall: 9.4] Michael Myers may be standing behind you, but this copy of Halloween stands at the top of the population, ranking as the highest-graded complete-in-box example among just nine recorded on PSA/Wata's December 2025 census. In addition, this is our debut offering of the title. Inspired by John Carpenter's classic 1978 film, this game was released by Wizard Video Games-the same publisher responsible for The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, which is also featured in this sale. While the game does not name characters such as Laurie Strode or Michael Myers-known in the film as "The Shape"-it compensates with pixelated gore and a notable design choice that casts the player as a teenage babysitter rather than the villain. Like its sibling title, Halloween proved controversial, with many retailers refusing to stock it or keeping copies behind the counter on a request-only basis. Combined with limited production, this has made the game a rare and highly sought-after release. The box exhibits a light 4" crease on the bottom spine, a light 0.5" crease on the lower portion of the back cover, and a tiny crease on the top spine, yet still presents beautifully, highlighted by its theatrical poster cover art.
