Description
Ray Russell Mr. Sardonicus Bound Script, Shooting Schedule, and Playboy V8#1 (Various Publishers, 1961). Ray Russell (1924-1999) was an American writer of short stories, novels, and screenplays, and is best known for his horror fiction. Offered here is Mr. Russell's personal leather-bound script of his screenplay for the classic horror film Mr. Sardonicus, starring Guy Rolfe and Ronald Lewis. The story was adapted from a Russell novelette published in the January 1961 issue of Playboy Magazine (V8#1), a Fine copy of which is also included. The bound script is beautiful, with gilt embossing on the cover and Mr. Russell's name on the front. A stapled copy of the shooting schedule is also included, in Fine condition, with some edge toning. A very neat group for the horror film buff.Auction Info
