    The Sub-Mariner #1 (Marvel, 1968) CGC NM/MT 9.8 Off-white to white pages. When Marvel was able to start publishing more comics in 1968, they finally gave a solo series to a character who dated back to the first comic they ever published! The origin of the Sub-Mariner was retold in a story continued from Iron Man and Sub-Mariner #1. John Buscema provided both the cover and interior art for the book. Overstreet 2020 NM- 9.2 value = $800. CGC census 6/21: 68 in 9.8, none higher.
