Description

The Amazing Spider-Man #6 (Marvel, 1963) CGC NM 9.4 Off-white to white pages. This early Spidey issue contains the origin and first appearance of one of Spider-Man's most enduring foes, the Lizard, also known as Dr. Curtis Connors. Steve Ditko did the cover and art for the book. Of the more than 1,800 CGC-graded copies, only a baker's dozen have achieved a higher grade to date. Overstreet 2018 NM- 9.2 value = $5,500. CGC census 8/18: 30 in 9.4, 13 higher.
