    Superman #149 (DC, 1961) CGC NM+ 9.6 White pages. "The Death of Superman" is considered one of the greatest Superman stories ever told, and has been reprinted many times. This stunning example is the best copy of that issue we've ever offered. The Legion of Super-Heroes, Lex Luthor and the Justice League all appear in the "imaginary" tale. Curt Swan did the memorable cover and art for the book. Overstreet 2019 NM- 9.2 value = $675. CGC census 11/19: 5 in 9.6, none higher. From the Shasta Lake Collection.
