    X-Men #2 (Marvel, 1963) CGC NM 9.4 White pages. The second appearance of everyone's favorite team of mutants had them facing the Vanisher (in his debut appearance). The climax comes in the shadow of the White House, with Professor X showing his teen charges how to get the job done. The drama was courtesy of writer Stan "The Man" Lee and artist Jack "King" Kirby. Only seven copies of this issue have been certified with higher grades by CGC to date -- only seven! Overstreet 2014 NM- 9.2 value = $4,300. CGC census 11/14: 13 in 9.4, 7 higher.
