Description

Wonder Woman #82 (DC, 1956) CGC VF/NM 9.0 Cream to off-white pages. Collectors have found it difficult finding high-grade copies of many titles issued during the period between the advent of the Comics Code Authority in 1955 and the start of the Silver Age in late 1956. Case in point: issues #81-#83 of this title are considered "uncommon" by Gerber. That's noteworthy, since one has to go all the way back to 1943 to find a similarly "uncommon" issue of D.C.'s super-heroine, prior to these issues. This is only the second copy of issue #82 that CGC has graded to date, and the nicer of the two. Wonder Woman's original artist, H.G. Peter, was still doing the interior art at this point, the cover art attributed to Ross Andru. Overstreet 2002 NM 9.4 value = $270. From the collection of Bobby Harmon.
