    Description

The Silver Surfer #1 (Marvel, 1968) CGC NM+ 9.6 Off-white pages. The Silver Surfer's origin of how Norrin Radd became Galactus' herald is expanded upon in this issue, and the Watcher stars in his very own back-up feature. John Buscema handles the cover and the interior art on the lead story, while the art for the backup feature is provided by Gene Colan. This issue is square bound, making the high grade something to appreciate, as such books are most commonly found in lower grades. Overstreet 2005 NM- 9.2 value = $675. CGC census 9/05: 14 in 9.6, 1 higher.
