This is only the second time in our 20-year history that we have encountered a copy of the Silver Surfer's expanded origin in NM/MT 9.8, and the first time in over a decade! We expect the price for this copy will soar the spaceways to astonishing new heights, as it is tied for the top copy on the current CGC Census, and rumors of the Surfer's Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in the upcoming Fantastic Four film continue to pick up steam. John Buscema provided the classic cover and teamed with inker Joe Sinnott on the story art, while Gene Colan and Syd Shores contributed a backup story diving into the origin of The Watcher.
