Description

The Incredible Hulk #1 (Marvel, 1962) CGC VG/FN 5.0 Off-white to white pages. This Jack Kirby monster-piece has one of the most memorable covers of the early '60s Marvel titles, that would revolutionize the comics industry. Besides the origin and first appearance of the grey-skinned Hulk, highlights include the first appearances of Rick Jones, Betty Ross, and General Ross. Values for this book just continue to increase faster than many of the other major Silver Age keys. That dark blue cover makes it just about impossible to find truly high-grade unrestored copies. Overstreet 2013 VG 4.0 value = $4,000; FN 6.0 value = $6,000. CGC census 5/14: 1 in 5.0, 1 higher.
