The Incredible Hulk #1 (Marvel, 1962) CGC GD/VG 3.0 White pages. A tough book in any grade is the origin and first appearance of the Hulk, and the first appearances of Rick Jones, Betty Ross, and Thunderbolt Ross. The Jack Kirby cover is notorious for defects, due to the easily marred dark blue background. Kirby, George Roussos, and Paul Reinman art. CGC notes, "2 pieces of tape on interior cover." Overstreet 2013 GD 2.0 value = $2,000; VG 4.0 value = $4,000.
