The Incredible Hulk #1 (Marvel, 1962) CGC FN+ 6.5 White pages. The senses-shattering origin and first appearance of the Hulk, tucked behind an iconic cover by Jack Kirby. Long-time supporting players Rick Jones, Betty Ross, and Thunderbolt Ross also make their first appearances. Though this series lasted a mere six issues, the Hulk went on to become one of Marvel's most popular and most well-known characters, and this book is currently ranked #2 on Overstreet's list of Top 50 Silver Age Comics. Decent copies are hard to find, even more so than many other Marvel keys of the early '60s, and this one is a very worthwhile specimen. Overstreet 2017 FN 6.0 value = $16,000; VF 8.0 value = $48,000. CGC census 11/17: 46 in 6.5, 103 higher.
