    Description

The Flash #137 Pacific Coast pedigree (DC, 1963) CGC NM+ 9.6 White pages. How much bigger can you get than the return of the Justice Society? It was the group's first full Silver Age appearance (they had only been seen in a flashback previously). The Flashes of two Earths have to team up to rescue the JSA, and they have to tangle with Golden Age villain Vandal Savage, also making his Silver Age debut. The historic issue has Carmine Infantino art, with Murphy Anderson inking the cover. Copies of this issue are rare in grades above 8.5, and this copy is one of two sitting at the top spot in the CGC census. Overstreet 2009 NM- 9.2 value = $800. CGC census 10/09: 2 in 9.6, none higher. From the Gary Keller Collection.
