Description

The Flash #105 (DC, 1959) CGC VF+ 8.5 Off-white pages. The Golden Age series ended in 1949, 10 years before this premiere issue of the Silver Age version. The great artist Carmine Infantino rendered the Scarlet Speedster in both cases, and many think his best work was on the Silver Age version, which had first appeared in tryout issues of Showcase from 1956-58. The origin of Flash is retold, and the story features the origin and first appearance of Mirror Master. Overstreet 2013 VF 8.0 value = $6,000; VF/NM 9.0 value = $13,000. CGC census 11/13: 3 in 8.5, 9 higher. From the Don and Maggie Thompson Collection.
