Unbelievably, in our 15 years of auctioning comics, we have only offered five copies that grade higher than this extremely pretty pedigree copy of the first appearance of the Justice League of America, one of the most collected of all of DC's super-hero teams! This issue also contains the first appearances of Starro and Snapper Carr. Mike Sekowsky and Murphy Anderson are responsible for the cover and interior art for the book. Currently issue #28 tied for the #5 spot on Overstreet's list of Top 50 Silver Age Comics. Overstreet 2016 VF 8.0 value = $16,000. CGC census 8/16: 23 in 8.0, 19 higher.
