Description

The Brave and the Bold #28 (DC, 1960) CGC VF/NM 9.0 Off-white pages. One of the key comic books that fueled the early Silver Age was this issue, the first appearance of the Justice League of America, and the debuts of Snapper Carr and the echinoderm menace, Starro. Mike Sekowsky and Murphy Anderson teamed up for the cover and interior art. Awfully tough to find this in high grade, as evidenced by CGC's census, which lists just one higher-graded copy to date. Overstreet 2006 VF/NM 9.0 value = $6,640; NM- 9.2 value = $9,500. CGC census 12/06: 5 in 9.0, none higher.

View the certification for CGC Certification ID 0754794002, including grader's notes if available and a link to the latest full census report for the issue.
