Description
The Avengers #2 Pacific Coast pedigree (Marvel, 1963) CGC NM/MT 9.8 White pages. In this second issue, the Hulk leaves the team, and the Space Phantom makes his first appearance. The cover and art are by Jack Kirby. High-grade copies of this issue have shown a steady increase in value over the past few years, and this outstanding copy is the nicest we've ever seen. It ties with two others for the highest-graded honors in CGC's census for the issue. Overstreet 2012 NM- 9.2 value = $3,000. CGC census 7/12: 3 in 9.8, none higher.
