Description

The Avengers #1 (Marvel, 1963) CGC VG 4.0 Cream to off-white pages. With Disney and Sony making a deal on Spider-Man, so he will be able to appear in the next Avengers film, the super-team is hotter than ever, and so is their origin and first appearance. Appearances by Loki, the Teen Brigade, and the Fantastic Four are also of note. The cover and art are by Jack Kirby. Currently tied for the #10 spot on Overstreet's list of Top 20 Silver Age Comics. Overstreet 2014 VG 4.0 value = $1,300. CGC census 2/15: 193 in 4.0, 822 higher.
