The Avengers #1 (Marvel, 1963) CGC VF+ 8.5 Off-white pages. A must for the serious Silver Age collector is a nice copy of the Avengers' origin and first appearance. Thor, Iron Man, Hulk, Ant-Man, and Wasp were the charter members, and this issue also features appearances by Loki, the Teen Brigade, and the Fantastic Four. Jack Kirby provided the cover and interior art. Overstreet 2006 VF 8.0 value = $2,389; VF/NM 9.0 value = $4,195. CGC census 9/06: 19 in 8.5, 21 higher.CGC Grader Notes:
