    Description

The Amazing Spider-Man #72 Twin Cities pedigree (Marvel, 1969) CGC NM/MT 9.8 White pages. Spider-Man takes on the Shocker in this issue, which has art by John Buscema (breakdowns), John Romita Sr. (finished pencils), and Jim Mooney (inks). This pedigreed copy is a beautiful specimen of an issue with a dreaded black cover -- as a matter of fact, CGC hasn't certified a copy with a higher grade to date. Overstreet 2010 NM- 9.2 value = $175. CGC census 4/11: 4 in 9.8, none higher. From the Gary Dahlberg Collection.
