The Amazing Spider-Man #6 (Marvel, 1963) CGC VF/NM 9.0 White pages. The Lizard made his first appearance in this issue. You'll recall that the scaly baddie is actually good-guy scientist Curt Connors, which means Spider-Man doesn't want to harm him. Problem is, the Lizard has no qualms about tearing Spidey limb from limb! It's Stan Lee conflict at its best, illustrated by Steve Ditko. By the way, no doubt you saw Dr. Connors get a speaking part in the "Spider-Man 2" movie, it was obvious that the groundwork was being laid for a Lizard appearance in one of the upcoming flicks. That makes this issue a good investment in our book. Overstreet 2004 VF/NM 9.0 value = $2,004; NM- 9.2 value = $2,700.
