    Description

The Amazing Spider-Man #28 Twin Cities pedigree (Marvel, 1965) CGC NM- 9.2 White pages. For a long time this issue has been known to all Marvel collectors as a tough one to find in nice shape because of the outrageous black cover. And while we've actually offered CGC 9.4 copies on a few occasions, you'd be well-served to look at the scans of those in our online archives to see if you really like them better than this one. At the very least, this copy has the blackest blacks of any copy we can recall... and you'll see what we mean by that phrasing when you compare images. This issue is the origin and first appearance of the Molten Man. Steve Ditko cover. Overstreet 2010 NM- 9.2 value = $2,000. CGC census 4/11: 13 in 9.2, 15 higher. From the Gary Dahlberg Collection.
