    Description

Tales to Astonish #27 (Marvel, 1962) CGC FN 6.0 Cream to off-white pages. The first appearance of Henry Pym, the super-scientist who would reappear in costume as Ant-Man several issues later. This book currently ties with Avengers #1 and Showcase #22 for the #10 spot on Overstreet's Top 20 Silver Age Comic Books list, and is one of the most difficult Silver Age Marvel keys to find in high grade. The cover and art are by Jack Kirby, with backup features by Steve Ditko and Don Heck. The character is scheduled to make his feature film debut next summer, which might just lift him into the mainstream. Overstreet 2014 FN 6.0 value = $2,450. CGC census 11/14: 19 in 6.0, 83 higher.
