    Tales of Suspense #39 (Marvel, 1963) CGC VF+ 8.5 Off-white to white pages. Among Marvel Age "keys" it ranks just behind Journey Into Mystery #83 and X-Men #1, and is in eighth place among Overstreet's Top 20 Silver Age Books in the 2011 edition. The reason: the origin and first appearance of Iron Man. Jack Kirby produced yet another historic cover, assisted by Don Heck who provided the story art. Steve Ditko and Gene Colan also contributed interior art. Overstreet 2012 VF 8.0 value = $9,000; VF/NM 9.0 value = $18,000. CGC census 7/12: 30 in 8.5, 45 higher.
