Tales of Suspense #39 (Marvel, 1963) CGC FN/VF 7.0 Off-white to white pages. Among Marvel Age key issues, this one is currently in eighth place on Overstreet's Top 20 Silver Age Comics list thanks to the origin and first appearance of Iron Man featured in its contents. Jack Kirby produced yet another historic cover, assisted by Don Heck who provided the story art. Steve Ditko and Gene Colan also contributed interior art. Overstreet 2013 FN 6.0 value = $3,000; VF 8.0 value = $9,000. CGC census 2/14: 47 in 7.0, 165 higher.
