    Tales of Suspense #39 (Marvel, 1963) CGC FN/VF 7.0 Cream to off-white pages. Ol' Shellhead stepped onto the comic scene in a big way, with this origin and first appearance issue. Iron Man takes on his first villain, Wong Chu, who coincidentally makes his first appearance here too. An the unfortunate Professor Yinsen also makes his first appearance... and then promptly dies! Jack Kirby and Don Heck cover. Heck, Steve Ditko, and Gene Colan art. Currently issue #39 sits at the #9 spot on Overstreet's list of Top 50 Silver Age Comics. Overstreet 2015 FN 6.0 value = $4,800; VF 8.0 value = $9,600. CGC census 8/15: 52 in 7.0, 170 higher.
