    Strange Tales #115 Twin Cities pedigree (Marvel, 1963) CGC NM 9.4 White pages. An exciting book! No, it's not the highest-graded copy, but if you get to see this one in person, we think you'll be excited too. The book enjoys key status thanks to the first telling of the origin of Dr. Strange, a yarn that has been reprinted many times over the years. If you first discovered the story in a "beater" copy way back when, you'll get a charge out of seeing it in NM -- the midnight blue background and the purple vignette look amazing.

    Aside from the aforementioned origin tale (which wasn't told until the Doc's fourth appearance) there's a Human Torch story featuring just the second appearance of the Sandman (psst, if you want to see an incredible copy of his first outing in Spider-Man #4, it's in this same catalog). There's also an early Spidey crossover, concurrent with #7 of the Webhead's own mag. Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko cover. Overstreet 2010 NM- 9.2 value = $1,100. CGC census 4/11: 9 in 9.4, 2 higher.
