Strange Tales #114 (Marvel, 1963) CGC NM+ 9.6 Off-white to white pages. An extremely important book in the Silver Age Marvel Universe. The Acrobat appears in disguise as Captain America, in the first Cap appearance since 1954. The Human Torch is also featured, as is the first appearance of Victoria Bentley and the third appearance of Doctor Strange, whose monthly series begins here. Jack Kirby and Dick Ayers provided the cover and interior art, with Steve Ditko and George Roussos also contributing. Overstreet 2024 NM- 9.2 value = $1,800. CGC census 11/24: 9 in 9.6, 4 higher.
