Description

Strange Tales #110 Pacific Coast pedigree (Marvel, 1963) CGC NM+ 9.6 Off-white to white pages. The first appearance of Doctor Strange has a chance to be the next major breakout book, particularly if this character makes it into a theatrical feature as many of the other Marvel stars have. Not that the book is cheap or under-the-radar now! We can honestly say we do not know a single collector who would not be upgrading this copy if he acquired this one here, it is that nice. And even if a 9.8 copy does become certified at some future time (there are none to date) it would be hard-pressed to equal the eye appeal of this one here. Jack Kirby drew the issue's cover, featuring the Human Torch who was the lead feature in the book as well as the redoubtable Paste-Pot Pete. Overstreet 2012 NM- 9.2 value = $4,800. CGC census 7/12: 3 in 9.6, none higher. From the Doug Schmell / PedigreeComics.com Collection.
