Showcase #23 Green Lantern (DC, 1959) CGC NM- 9.2 Off-white to white pages. A rare book in high grades, so much so that not only is this the first NM- 9.2 copy we've ever seen, it's also the highest-graded copy we've offered to date. This was the second appearance of Hal Jordan, aka the Silver Age Green Lantern. The nuclear explosion cover, splash page, and story art are by Gil Kane, who provided the art for the bulk of the character's first solo series. Overstreet 2024 NM- 9.2 value = $6,300.
