Showcase #17 Adventures on Other Worlds (DC, 1958) CGC VF- 7.5 Off-white pages. This issue contains the origin and first appearance of Adam Strange (written by Gardner Fox), and the first appearances of Alanna and Sardath. Gil Kane provided the earth-slicing flying saucer cover, and Mike Sekowsky and Bernard Sachs supplied interior art. This is currently the #1 issue on Overstreet's list of Top Ten Sci-Fi Comics, and is also #36 on their Top 50 Silver Age Comics list! Overstreet 2023 VF 8.0 value = $4,820.
