Jim Steranko's wild graphics would influence later generations of artists who followed his unconventional panel layouts and surreal style. The first seven issues of this title proved to be his zenith, a true milestone in comics. This copy is about as good as it gets, and appears as fresh as the day it was printed. It doesn't get much better than this folks. The issue has the first appearance of Scorpio. Steranko story, cover, and art. Joe Sinnott art. Overstreet 2016 NM- 9.2 value = $325. CGC census 8/16: 40 in 9.8, 1 higher.
