    Description

Frankenstein #2 Curator pedigree (Dell, 1966) CGC NM/MT 9.8 White pages. This issue came out two years after the movie adaptation in #1, and though the main character's name remained the same, this isn't Mary Shelley's "Modern Prometheus" but rather a superhero! We told you the '60s were wild, man! This issue has the origin and first appearance of this costumed "reimagining" of Frankenstein (who only appeared in a total of three comic books), all from the drawing board of Tony Tallarico. You've probably guessed that this 9.8 is the best known copy, but we'll even top that by noting it's the only copy of the issue that CGC has certified to date. Overstreet 2004 NM- 9.2 value = $48. CGC census 12/04: 1 in 9.8, none higher.

View the certification for CGC Certification ID 0086249010 and purchase grader's notes if available.
