    Description

Fantastic Four Complete Set (Marvel, 1961) #1-416. Here is a great opportunity to pick up the entire run of the Fantastic Four. Included here are all of the keys. Condition of the books is as follows: Issue #1 is in PR condition, with extensive tape, creases and pieces missing. This copy is beat to all heck, but it is complete...and hey -- it's a copy of FF #1. #2 features the Skrulls and is in GD/VG condition. #3 has an excellent appearance, and would grade FN if not for 2.5" by .5" chews at the bottom left corner of the book -- overall GD condition. #4 GD- (autographed by Stan Lee, heavy glue on spine), #5 GD (first Doctor Doom), #6 GD, #7 GD+, #8 VG+, #9 GD-, #10 VG, #11 VG-, #12 VG/FN (Classic Hulk issue! Top staple popped, otherwise this one is very sharp.), #13 FR/GD, #14 FN+ (nice!), #15 FN+ (nice!), #16 VG (Marvel chipping), #17-19 GD, #20 FR, #21 NM- (CGC worthy!), #22 GD, #23 GD (would be FN-, but there are 3 binder holes), #24 GD, #25 GD+ (Hulk battle!), #26 GD, #27 VG-, #28 VG, #29 GD+, #30 GD, #31 VG-, #32 VG/FN, #33 VG, #34 VG/FN (water spot back cover), #35 VG+, #36 VG, #37 VG+ (water spot back cover, incredible gloss!), #38 GD, #39 GD, #40 GD+, #41 VG, #42 VG-, #43 FR, #44 VG, #45 VG, #46 GD/VG, #47 VG+, #48 VG+ (water spots back cover, white pages), #49 FN, #50 VG/FN (looks much nicer), #51-107 average condition GD. #108 VG/FN (popped staple), #109 VG, #110 VG/FN, #111-117 average GD, #118-122 average VG, #123-199 average GD, from #200-on the books are much nicer, averaging FN or better, with many in the VF and NM range. Also included are Annual #1 FR, Annual #2 GD, Annual #3 FR, #4 to 7 average VG, #8 VF- (Mile High 2), #9 - 11 average GD, #12-27 Average VF. An extra copy of #100 in GD is tossed in as a bonus. This "Instant Collection" is worth several thousand dollars! Get them all at once...outstanding reading material, and highly collectible too.

I have done a preliminary analysis and the total of the hammer prices was $67,550. With BP, the final figure was $80,722.25. That is against the total insurance value of $34,785 or 2.32 x ‘pre-auction estimate’. Incredible, really, so a big thanks.
