Fantastic Four #6 (Marvel, 1962) CGC NM+ 9.6 Off-white to white pages. This is only the second time that we've had the privilege to offer a copy in a grade higher than 9.2, (the last was a 9.4 in July of last year) and this copy's just as clean and bright as the day it was purchased from the comic rack, back in 1962. The first-ever villain team-up at Marvel paired the Sub-Mariner and Dr. Doom, an idea so good you could make a whole series of it (which Marvel eventually did with the title Supervillain Team-Up). The issue was also the second appearance of Doom and just the second Silver Age appearance of Mr. Namor McKenzie (aka Subby). Jack Kirby and Dick Ayers cover and art. Overstreet 2013 NM- 9.2 value = $6,200. CGC census 11/13: 2 in 9.6, none higher.CGC Grader Notes:
