This gorgeous copy, from the always amazing White Mountain pedigree, is one of the most important keys in the title's run, as it introduces Doctor Doom to the comic-reading world. His origin is also included. Jack Kirby drew the ominous cover image and the "Fantastic" interior art. Joe Sinnott also inked his first FF Kirby pages here in this issue, but wouldn't ink the Four again until issue #44. Overstreet 2012 NM- 9.2 value = $16,000. CGC census 7/12: 8 in 9.4, 1 higher.
