Description

Fantastic Four #3 (Marvel, 1962) CGC NM+ 9.6 Off-white to white pages. The Fantastic Four finally go pro in this issue, putting on costumes for the first time and establishing headquarters. The flying Fantasti-Car appears for the first time, as the team battles the Miracle Man, a menace of seemingly colossal power who turns out to be a mere hypnotist. In a rare flub, artist Jack Kirby drew the Human Torch with two left hands on the cover. Only one other copy of this issue has been certified higher by CGC to date. Overstreet 2012 NM- 9.2 value = $10,000. CGC census 7/12: 1 in 9.6, 1 higher. From the Doug Schmell / PedigreeComics.com Collection.
