    Fantastic Four #1 (Marvel, 1961) CGC FN+ 6.5 Cream to off-white pages. The origin and first appearance of the Fantastic Four, Marvel's first superhero team. Created as a response to DC's Justice League of America dream team, Stan Lee and Jack Kirby opted for a more grounded take, presenting their heroes as a dysfunctional family of sorts. Also featured is the origin and first appearance of the villainous Mole Man. Kirby provided the cover and interior art. A key Silver Age comic, this issue is currently rated #3 on Overstreet's list of Top 50 Silver Age Comics. Overstreet 2015 FN 6.0 value = $8,400; VF 8.0 value = $29,000.
