    Description

Fantastic Four #1 (Marvel, 1961) CGC FN 6.0 Off-white pages. The Fantastic Four were an unassuming group when they first hit the newsstands. While technically a group of superheroes, they were strange -- even weird -- and often bickered amongst themselves. Heck, they didn't even wear costumes until issue #3! But it did not take long for Stan Lee and Jack Kirby to transform this group of oddball heroes into a genuine sensation, and create a legacy of great stories and artwork that endures to this day. The comic offered here is a great example of the book; it's not high grade enough to send the price into the stratosphere, while it maintains a clean, attractive appearance that will appeal to discriminating collectors. If you're looking for a solid mid-grade copy of this key issue, your search is now over. Overstreet 2003 FN 6.0 value = $2,526.
