Fantastic Four #1 (Marvel, 1961) CGC FN- 5.5 White pages. This is the issue that paved the way for all other Marvel Age superheroes and superhero teams to follow. The now famous cover by Jack Kirby was a welcome change to the DC titles of the day, and the interior stories were just as distinctive. So many firsts! Here's the origin and first appearance of the Fantastic Four and its members, Mr. Fantastic, the Thing, the Human Torch (not the same character Timely/Marvel featured in comics' Golden Age), and Invisible Girl -- Marvel's first super-hero team since the Golden Age and Mole Man's first appearance as well.
