Daredevil #1 Don/Maggie Thompson Collection pedigree (Marvel, 1964) CGC NM- 9.2 Off-white to white pages. Another of the historic Marvel Age premiere issues created by Jack Kirby in the early '60s. He gets help from another renowned artist, fellow Timely alumnus Bill Everett, who also contributed the interior art. It's a scintillating copy, bright with great eye appeal and a grade that should make any True Believer happy. The issue has the origin and first appearance of Daredevil (Matt Murdock), as well as the first appearances of Karen Page and Foggy Nelson. One of the later of the early Marvel "keys" -- there's still time to nab a primo copy for much less than five figures. But you should act now! Overstreet 2013 NM- 9.2 value = $9,200. CGC census 11/13: 41 in 9.2, 43 higher. From the Don and Maggie Thompson Collection.
