Description

Amazing Fantasy #15 (Marvel, 1962) CGC VG/FN 5.0 Cream to off-white pages. A book that literally sells for ten times the price it fetched in this grade when we started doing comic auctions in 2001. The most valuable book of the Silver Age, according to Overstreet, this landmark issue features the origin and first appearance of Spider-Man and the first appearances of Uncle Ben and Aunt May. Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko provided this incredible, iconic cover, and Ditko handled the interior art. A truly historic comic, it has recently been selling for over Guide values. Currently it ranks #1 on Overstreet's list of Top 50 Silver Age Comics. Overstreet 2017 VG 4.0 value = $14,000; FN 6.0 value = $28,000. CGC census 8/17: 109 in 5.0, 332 higher.
