Description

Amazing Fantasy #15 (Marvel, 1962) CGC VG- 3.5 Off-white to white pages. Here's the one that started a legend, specifically the first ever appearance of Spider-Man. Thank goodness enough people bought this comic in 1962 to make Marvel give ol' Webhead his own title, creating a cultural icon in the process. The unforgettable origin story is by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko, and the issue is graced by an oft-imitated Jack Kirby cover. This issue also boasts some nice back-up horror features with Ditko art as well. Overstreet 2007 VG 4.0 value = $3,200. CGC census 6/07: 54 in 3.5, 280 higher.
