    Description

Amazing Fantasy #15 (Marvel, 1962) CGC FN/VF 7.0 Cream to off-white pages. The king of all Marvels Silver Age keys is well-represented here. AF #15 is currently ranked #1 in value among all Silver Age books. For years Showcase #4, now regarded as the book that launched the Silver Age, was ranked #1. Marvel's first serious foray came with Fantastic Four, but the first issue of that run has been overtaken and left in the wake of Amazing Fantasy #15.
Spider-Man (Peter Parker) makes his comic debut in this seminal book, as his origin is told. The first appearances of Uncle Ben and Aunt May are inside as well. Jack "King" Kirby and "Sturdy" Steve Ditko provided the cover and interior art for the ish. Overstreet 2015 FN 6.0 value = $20,000; VF 8.0 value = $64,000. CGC census 3/16: 46 in 7.0, 78 higher.
